Show I South Tract Review i Our rain of Saturday and Sunday Sun-day was no joke. A real soaker ; which went into the Ground about two inches and did lots of good in the fields, and killed the awful dust of the roads, i Lewis Beck, who has been out of school a week on account of la grippe, started in again this monday, hoping-he can continue without a relapse, altho he is not yet well. Mr. Robt. Whicker succeeded in getting us a good Mowing well at the South Tract school house at a depth of near three hundred feet. This is a splendid improvement improve-ment for any school yard. Thanks to the school board. Considerable of brush ground is being prepared for cultivation this fall and quite an acreage has been cleared and sown to wheat. Some day grease wood and quimps will be no more. A parent teachers meeting will be organized at our school house this week which will convene con-vene once a month. Its a good move, give it your aid. The South Tract Economics club is just getting into working-order working-order with Mrs. H. E. Beck as President and Mrs. Bert Whit-more Whit-more as Secretary. There was no Sunday School last Sunday on account of rain. The mountains put on their winter coats Sunday and its a white one. |
