Show MEADOW. On Wednesday, December 2D, Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Gull left for den, where Mr. Gull lias been employed by Mr. Marker. Thursday evening, the 21st, a free entertainment was given by the teachers teach-ers and pupils of our district school, which was very Interesting and reflects re-flects great credit both to teachers and pupils, especially those who represented rep-resented the comedy entitled, "Rube and He Ma." We doubt If they have an eipial anywhere In the county. A party was given In honor of the aged people, but Included all the married mar-ried people. The weather was rather cold for the aged, as few were present, pres-ent, but the younger class seemed to enjoy themselves, both at the feasting and dancing. Would It not be better In the future to give the faged their annual day of enjoyment before cold weither approaches? Sunday evening a Christmas program pro-gram was given by the mutuals as also Christmas day was celebrated In dancing under the supervision of the mutual officers, the proceeds were sent to the three missionaries from here. Holidays brought home Mr. and Mrs. F. Earl Stott and our students from the Millard Stake Ac -demy, also Arnold Ar-nold Iteckstrand, fro:f the 17. of I'., Salt Lake City; Philip Rarkdull, from the B. Y. V., Prove; Asael II. Fisher and lady, from the Industrial school at Ogden; also Mrs. P. L. Greenhalgh, of Salt Lake City; Mr. Aired, of Hinckley, Hinck-ley, a guest of Miss Inez Ilushnell and Miss Peterson, of Clear Lake Is enjoying enjoy-ing the society of Ellas Edwards. |
