Beck and had a very interesting interest-ing meeting. Next Sunday evening they will meet at the home of Joe Fidel. Mr. and Lonzo Folsom have gone over onto the North Tract to put in some grain on the Seig-I Seig-I ler place. 1 Harry Pearson had Dr. Broad -1 dus . operate on an inl'ractious I toe last Monday and consequent-1 consequent-1 ly lost a part of it. It has been i giving him considerable trouble. We are glad to know that we have some new neighbors in the persons of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sampson, who lately purchased the Bunker 40, just west of the Moench land. We are willing to gamble that they will be first-class first-class neighbors. There will be a well prepared debate pulled off at the school house in the near future, The affirmative will be represented by the men and the negative by the ladies of the South Tract. We are not allowed to disclose the names of the judges as some unthoughtful person might seek to poison their minds against a fair decision. The question for debate is: Did Ed Pearson buy a new car with which to carry the (fe) mail. Jo Fidel has a brother with him for the summer, from their old home near Denver, Colo. He has already subjected himself him-self to the rigors of the state law by shooting at some geese. However he says he will never do it again.
