A dance, given by the Seniors, immediately after the debate, in t'ne A. C. Nelson gymnasium, was typical of the Senior class s.n'rit- The dance was well man-a;ed, man-a;ed, and was in line with all t'le Academy dances. Miss Cook entertained at a formal dinner party, Wednesday evening, in M. A. dining room. The color scheme of lavender and white was artistically worked work-ed out in the decorations. The chief attraction was a beautifully arranged centerpiece of violets and ferns. Covers were laid for ten. Those present were: Misses, Miss-es, Irene Macelprang, Carrie Leigh, Camilla Eyring and Eleanor Elea-nor Ashby. Messrs, Harold Morris, Pratt Wright, Glen Fin-layson, Fin-layson, Leon Finlayson and Evan Theobald. The first year Domestic Do-mestic Science girls served and prepared the dinner. Misses Locke and . Blake entertained, with violin and piano music, during tne dinner. At the regular time every evening, eve-ning, the boys can be seen in their maroon end white uniforms training for the Track and Base Ball meet, to be held at Fillmore Friday, 14th. Monday a tryout was held, in which it was proven that a goodly good-ly number of the boys are very efficent in their track work. A hint to the wise is sufficient. On Friday, April 21st, one of the mort unique dances of the season will be given, the M. dance. This is in honor of those who have worked for the school. Awards and medals of honor, consisting of rings and sweaters will be given to the debaters and basket ball boys. Maroon and white will form the color scheme, which will be worked out in the dainty refreshments and decorations. decor-ations. After an absence of five days, Principal McClellan was greeted by loud applause from the student stud-ent body, when he appeared in devotional Tueseay morning. He reports having a fine trip and his remarks showed that he came back with many ideas for the betterment of the school. Fred Graham and his quintet will be at the Academy sometime in the middle of April, This is a rare treat and everyone should take advantage of it.
