The ladles' baseball clubs aro practicing almost every day arid they should put up a first class game. I. M. Payne and Charles Frampton are preparing to open a butcher shop in the Payne building, about August 1st. Carpenters are engaged In making mak-ing the refrigerator, elc. nd the boys say they will run an up-to-date shop. Jesse Giles, who was down from Lehl to upend the 4th here, was taken quite 111 on his way home. When he reached Sclplo he was In a seriotia condition con-dition and was rushed to Juab by team and then on the train to the Provo hospital, hos-pital, where he was operated upon for appendicitis. Sunday word was received re-ceived that the operation was successful success-ful and that Mr. Giles was In a fair way to mend. J. S. Smith thrashed bis dry grain last week and off of 9 acres he got 120 bushels of wheal. A little over 13 bushels to the acre. Will Keith has been quite 111 the past week, but we understand he Is now on the mend. Henry Manson Is erecting a home on the old North corner. Karly peaches are ripe and there will be an abundance of them a little Inter on. There Is no news at the county seat this week every one npears to be hunting tho shade. |
