Show NEWS NOTES OF SC1PIO D. Groter Prober!. Chronicle Representative An election was held here on the 10th for the purpose of electing a school trustee for a three years term. The town was divided Into two parties, each running a different man. A great deal of excitement prevailed through the day and both sides were very anxious for their man to win. The result was that Anton Peterson was elected. Head Watermaster Erwln Brown report that the water Is nearly a thing of the past. It has all been drained out of the reservoir and all we have to depend on I what little comes out of the mountains. But most of the grain crops will mature, especially if we can have an occasional oc-casional shower The committee appointed for the 21th is preparing for a grand time. They are Iars Jensen. Con D. Robins, Earl Wasden. Mrs. Angus Memmott and Miss Winnie Wasden. Dr. Steven was called over from Fllimore again Monday to attend John Jacohson who Is suffering from heart trouble. People seem to be well satisfied sat-isfied with the doctor here. He has been very successful with hi patient. Mrs. N. J. Ree. Mr. Thomas Rees and their children have returned to Sciplo. They have spent the laxt ten month In Chlcpgo where their husband hus-band have been attending some medical college. Mr. Rigler from Nephl, and two Mr. Iteekstrand from Meadow, are here ettlng up the ne w grain heade r recently purchased. Truman Martin ha gone to work on a dry farm over near llolden.
