Preparedness does not necese-sarily necese-sarily mean walking around wit? a chip on one's shoulder. Be cause a man feeh prepared t die, is no reason why he shoulc commit suicide. Quite the con trary, in fact. And it was n less a Christian gentleman thar Washington who stated that "Eternal vigilance is the price o: Liberty."
