Manager Man-ager Sieele reports business picking up. He sold one of their celebrated Mllburn wagons lust week and with the large number of settlers coming In he expects a big call for farm machinery ma-chinery In the spring. Hay Is so scarce and high here that he has ordered two carloads from Idaho. S. W. Eccles has also decorated his store with a big sign bakery being especially conscpicuous. He Is making mak-ing arrangements to have his celebrated cele-brated I'avant bread handled by the stores In the adjoining towns. W. K. Walker, the Chronicle's valued val-ued representative at Oak City, was a caller at the office last Saturday. The Delta town board held their first meeting last Saturday night. The bourd consists of A. C. Sorenson, president; pres-ident; John Steele, E. Marshall, II. F. Johnson and F. S. Lyman. They appointed ap-pointed M. Stapley as' clerk, Anthony Stephenson, treasurer, Dr. A. Murphy, town physician and C. A. Clawson, marshal. All the officers will serve without pay for the first year at least. Their next meeting will be held on Thursday evening, when the question of revenue, town ordinances, etc., will be taken up. |
