Show Mutual Creamery Representive Here A representative of the Mutual Creamery Co. put in some time here last week looking over the field with a view of placing a number of their dairy cows in the "Greater" Delta country. He talked with Project Manager McPherson of the Delta Co. and secured the names of a number of prospective buyers and will mail them literature relative to their plan. The company is anxious anx-ious to get started here with their cows and figure that the field is sufficiently large to care for at leapt one thousand caws and they plan to hold a meeting here in November with the idea of setting forth their terms and conditions of the purchase of the stock. Messrs. Hall and King of the company, will be here at that time and state their proposition to the farmers. Wednesday of last week Delta and South Tract sports took part in a rabbit hunt. The ones who showed up with the least number num-ber of rabbits at the end of the day were to furnish a dance and supper. The South Tract fellows are arranging to serve the Delta nimrods with afeast and dance on next Wednesday evening. The South Tract scored 162 and the Delta fellows 312 rabbits. We understand the North Tract is figuring on a day to take some of the conceit out of the Delta bunch. |
