Taylor came down from ijinyard this week to visit here a Hew days. T Rufe Clark got word back from the Biological Survey on the goose that he killed which bore a tag on its leg. The goose was banded in 1941 by T. V. Wilson at Bear Lake. This would put the goose under i years of age if banded when quite young. Mrs. Irene Little went to Salt Lake City Monday to attend a Red Cross convention. Friday will be "Ground Hog Day" but don't believe too much about him as a weather forecaster. Alvin Bishop spent Thursday with his parents, M-S J. Avery Bishop. The coldest day last week was 2 above zero on the 23rd. Sunday morning was 8 above. Monday evening M-S Lamond Bunker gave 'a dinner in honor of their son, Keith, on his eighteenth birthday. Present were M-S C. R. Woodbury, Mrs. Lavell Johnson, M-S John Adams and Grace and Kenneth, M-S Alfred Adams and son. Keith will leave soon for the Merchant Marine. S Buy War Bonds and Stamps $ Mrs. Lila Ball and daughter and mother, Mrs. Norman Gardner, left Delta Friday for Milwaukee where Mrs. Ball will join her husband, who is stationed there. Mrs. Gardner Gard-ner will visit a short time before returning. William J. Starley went to California Cal-ifornia Sunday. M-S Leo Cahoon are there and he will visit with them. Elaine Hopkins returned home Sunday from Tooele, where she has been working for the past several sev-eral months. M-S Peter T. Black spent last week in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Blown Sanford went to Provo Pro-vo Thursday and her daughter returned re-turned with her for the weekend. M-S Elwood Mortensen went to Holden to meet Elwood's mother, who was returning from Provo, where she had spent a week with her daughter. Miss Patty Pace came home from school for the weekend. Dan Melville is visiting his daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. Noble G. Peterson. M-S Morgan Edwards have had their daughter, Mrs. Donna White-ly White-ly and son visiting with them for the past two months. They have returned re-turned to their home in Oakland, California. Mr. Whitely is a petty officer in the USN and is stationed at the Navy Supply Depot at Oakland. |
