Show Oak City . . . -Mrs. Harold Anderi.on Bryce Finlinson received his discharge dis-charge from the navy and is now at home. Mrs. Zella N. Lovell went to Salt Lake, where she did some genea-logic; genea-logic; I research work in the library lib-rary there. - " Mr. and Mrs. Clarence East mniie. a trip to Ogden to visit with East's mother. Ramona Finlinson visited last week in Fillmore with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. George Shipley ' came home from Salt Lake last Wednesday, to be with their children child-ren for Sirs. Shipley's birthday. They are visiting here for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Hone, of Benjamin, visited Sunday with their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Basil Talbot. Mr. Talbot's young brother, LaVell, remained to visit a few days. Erma and Ilene Pace, of Beaver, are visiting with their cousins, Edith Ed-ith and Geneviene Anderson. A partv and dance were given Friday night in honor of the Pace girls. Refreshments of chili and crackers and watermelons were served. ser-ved. About 30 young people attended. attend-ed. Francis and Avis Anderson are visiting in Richfield with their grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Norvel Anderson and children, visited over the week end with Mrs. Caddie Anderson. Mrs. Kathryn Coleman, ' and her voung baby, came with Mr. and Mrs. Norvel Anderson. They remained re-mained to visit this week with Ka-thryn's Ka-thryn's mother, Mrs. Caddie Anderson. Ander-son. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Heggessy, and baby, of Salt Lake, are visiting visit-ing here with Harold's grandmother, grandmo-ther, Mrs. Florence Jones. Mr. Heggessy Heg-gessy has recently received his discharge dis-charge from the army and will attend at-tend school this winter at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Adele Anderson, who has been visiting in Salt Lake and Ogden, Og-den, returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Heggessy. Mrs. Reed Arnold, and children, of Magna, are visiting this week with Mrs. Arnold's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Finlinson. A large number of people from Oak City attended the Republican rally Saturday, which was held in the canyon. Several were lucky ' enough to win prizes that were given away. The Finlinson reunion was held Saturday in the canyon. Dinner was served, after which a program was pre-ented by members of the family. fami-ly. The day was ended bv a dance iii the hall at Oak City, i.45 of the Finlinson family were present. Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Jacobson, and family, of Ogden, are visiting Mr. Jacobson's parents, Mr. and ' Mrs. Eddie Jacobson. The program in meeting, Sunday Sun-day evening, was given bv Mr. and Mrs. Earl Harris and family. Mr. : and Mrs. Harris talked, Shirley told a story, Gene sang a solo, Don and Diane played a piano duet and j Keith and Grant sang a duet. ! Mrs. J. W. Swalberg, and son, ! Glen Swalberg, went to Salt Lake : City early in the week, and Mrs. Swalberg remained there till the t end of the week. Mrs. Dora Miller has gone to Mil- ! ford this week. : Harold Colby, Max Hannifin and 1 Alfred Lake spent Saturday and Sunday at Fish lake. i |
