Trucks Move 98 Percent Of Farm Crops Largely as a result of the cooperation co-operation of farmers and truck operators op-erators with the Transportation Conservation Plan, about 1,600,000 motor trucks, mostly farmerowned, moved 98 percent of last year's huge farm crop at some stage of the journey from farm to market, the Office of Defense Transportation Transporta-tion says. Other farm transportation transporta-tion programs now operating include in-clude the movement of livestork, cotton, fresh fruits and vegetables, citrus fruits, and poultry.
