Show HINCKLEY . . . Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Fields and family of Ogden visited here Sun-dav Sun-dav with Mr. and Mrs. Amos Max-field. Max-field. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Bishop came over from Bicknell Sunday. Elder Bishop son of Mr. and Mrs. Don T. Bishop, who has just returned re-turned from the north central states, where he labored on a 2-year 2-year mission for the LDS church reported his mission in church Sunday Sun-day evening. Grant Hardy, Lorin Talbot, Byron By-ron Carter, . Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hardy and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith returned this week after spending the winter in Tooele where they have been employed. Mrs. Irene Skeem of Buhl, Idaho, spent two days in Hinckley visiting visit-ing with her sisters, Mrs. Lula Cropper and Mrs. Minnie Moody. Mrs. Skeem was returning to Idaho Ida-ho from Los Angeles where she spent two months with her brother, broth-er, Milo. Mr. Ed Tullis of Enterprise is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Don T. Bishop. Mrs. Nora Bishop left this Thursday Thurs-day to go to Missouri to join her husband, Mr. Don A. Bishop, who will be returning shortly from a short term mission for the LDS church. They will visit Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bishop in Tennessee before be-fore returning. Visitors from Tooele Saturday and Sunday included Lee Pratt, Calvin Webb, Harlan Hilton, Joy Gorden, Donna Barcley and Carol Halgren. Mr. Chester Barnes who is employed em-ployed in Nevada came home on Saturday to visit with his wife and family. Mr. Don T. Bishop, Mr. Wren Taylor and Mr. Layton Bishop from Tooeel were here Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Loa Hansen, Mrs. Ora Hansen Han-sen and Mrs. Fern Starley from Fillmore visited with their sister, Mrs. Hugh Hilton over the week end. Mrs. Isabel Hinton from Hurricane Hurri-cane was a guest of the Hilton families over. the week end. Mrs. Fay Theobald and son Blaine spent the week end in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Theobald visited her mother who is ill in a Salt Lake hospital. Mrs. Hugh Hilton entertained at a birthday party for her daughter Margene on Tuesday. Twenty-six little guests were present and enjoyed en-joyed games and refreshments. The guest of honor received many lovely gifts. A P.D.Q. club was organized to include all senior and junior girls of the high school at the home of Merodean Petersen this week. Officers Of-ficers were elected with Flora Brady, president; Rae Hepworth, vice - president; Carla Langston, secretary-treasurer. Carol Talbot was chosen as reporter. The club will be a sewing club. A birthday party at the Lorin Talbot home honored Ila. Games were played and refreshments served to guests Barbara Wilkins, Barbara Taylor, Georgia Dodson, Rosemary Kernell, Jeannine Barnes, Melba Jean Swensen, Elva Webb, Clare Bishop, Jeff Carter, Floyd Nelson, Kent Cahoon, Lawrence Wright, Lester Hepworth and Lola Wright. The P. T. A. officers are planning plan-ning another meeting and program for Thursday evening, March 30th. All adults are invited to attend. Vernon Love went to Salt Lake Thursday afternoon to visit with his folks. |
