Show r J t To our Subscribers Costs of everything are ore continually rising and with these costs also g go o the costs of printing and publishing a paper Since the beginning of the Millard County Chronicle we have always charged per year for a subscription but with conditions such as they are it looks as though we will have to raise the price of the paper to and possibly higher In the past we have hav made several offers on term long-term subscriptions subscriptions subscriptions sub sub- such as for five years and later for five years We were forced to drop the for five years some three years ago and it looks now as though we will have tb to drop the offer for five years also The last offer of for five years will end on the first of January 1942 and then the paper will go to straight per year and may possibly be raised to per year straight There are two ways to keep the price from rising to per year after the first of the year One is is more subscriptions for forthe fort t F. the paper thus giving us greater volume and the other is tomake to tomake tomake make all subscriptions payable in advance and to stop sending the paper to anyone who is in in arrears arrears- even a short time in in ar ar- rears t We dont don't want to raise the price of the paper unless weare we r i. i are forced to and still we dont don't want to cut out any part of the ther r present paper The pictures we are running at present are possibly possibly possibly pos pos- sibly the highest single item of present cost and they average us about per picture We Wedo do not want to cut these pictures II out Will you help us by giving us your opinion on whether we should raise the price of the paper to 2501 or would you prefer that we drop some department of the paper For you convenience we add a little vote ticket Fill Fill it out and then mail to us us- us I I would suggest raising th the price to i 4 S I f. f I II I would suggest dropping a department such as asi i iL L 0 t t.
