Show Enlists in Air force Edsel Crafts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crafts, of Hinckley, up-plied up-plied for enlistment in the U. S. Air Force the 2tnh of Sept. thru Sgt. Stinson, the Army and Air f orce recruiter. Edsel departed the 8th for Fort Douglas for final examinations ex-aminations before taking the oath of enlistment as his brother did Sept., 1951. He will depart for Parks Air Force Base, California, some time the later part of this week for 12 weeks basic training before being assigned to one of the many technical schools the Air Force has to offer the voluntary volun-tary enlistee. Sgt. Stinson, who's office is in the county Court house, Richfield, wants to announce that any high school graduate who can qualify, can become an air cadet in the U. S. Air Force. Also any high school graduate can choose any of the 42 technical schools the Army has to offer, wait for approval before enlisting for three years direct for the chosen school.
