Show Are Honored At Reception Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Knott were honored at a wedding reception re-ception in Hinckley Saturday night, i l hey were married in the Manti temple Friday, Sept. 19. The bl.ide is the former Dorthela lhop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. weber G. Bishop, of Hinckley. Mr Knott is a son of Mrs. Emilia D Knott, of Ogden. In the receiving line besides the parents of the young couple were Mr. Knott's brother-in-law, Duane E. Beecher, of Los Angeles, and his aunt, Mrs. George Home, of Salt Lake City. The bride's attendants were the groom's sister, Mrs Helen Louise Beecher, Mrs. lone Christensen, a cousin to the bride, Erma Lew of Nephi, and the bride's sisters, Sylvia and Janith Bishop Ned Mal-an Mal-an of Ogden was best man for the groom The program consisted of two numbers by the quartet of Layton Bishop, Eldon Sorenson, Ladd Crop per and Janus Wright, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. May Cropper Mrs. Richard May played "O Promise Me" on her xylophone, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. June Black. David Bishop sang two solos, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Richard May. Miss Fay Dennison, Miss Jane Dennison and Miss Dorthea Mclff received the gifts, and Mrs. Ray Chapman, Mrs. Lila Dennison, Mrs. Arvilla Swensen, Mrs. Edith Dennison Den-nison and Mrs. Ned Mialan had charge of the gift tables. Mrs. Esther Swensen, Mrs. La-Veda La-Veda Bishop and Miss Meiba Jean Swensen were in charge of serving. The bride has attended Snow College and the BAC. She is a graduate of the LDS Institute at Ephnaim. Mr. Knott has attended the Weber Web-er College at Ogden, and the U. of U. Both have filled missions for the LDS church in the Great Lakes mission. After a short honeymoon trip to California, they will make their home in Ogden, where they are both employed. |
