Show Are Speakers At Kiwaiais Meet Speakers at the Kiwanis of Delta Del-ta and West Millard meeting Monday Mon-day night were Sgt. William V. Wilson, home on furlojjgh after a year in action in Korea with the 213th Field Artillery battalion, and Mark Paxton, state senator, both from Fillmore. A large attendance listened with keen interest as Sgt. Wilson recounted re-counted his experiences in Korea, and told of the excellent record of the 213th. Mr. Paxton spoke on actions ac-tions of the state legislature. Sgt. Wilson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Wilson o Fillmore, and has written an interesting column each week for their paper, The Pro gress, while the 213th was in Korea, Ko-rea, and since his return home. Under the signature of G. L. Charlie Char-lie he has sent home the type of news the home-town folks enjoyed word of their sons in the service. |
