Show Illack Rock MBS. MRMLL MILLER Walter Miller returned from Salt Lake City where he had a pleasant few days with relatives and friends Mr. and Mrs. Hampton C. Burke were in Milford on business. The Union Pacific railroad water service gang has spent several weeks in Black Rock but are finding find-ing it difficult to lay the new pipe. First it was too frozen for effective work and now the bottom has drop ped out of everything. The March of Dimes is completed complet-ed and the few residents of Black Rock were most generous in their contributions. We wish to thank them all for their help in this cau- S6. George Bush, his son and a friend fri-end got themselves stuck in the mud a few miles west of Black Rock, and Mr. Bush had to walk into the Merrill Miller's to get aid. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fleming were in Milford on business and to visit friends. The one thing this country is not suffering from at the present is the lack of moisture. Even the old Beaver river has water in it at Black Rock. Thinking of water, the first thought is roads. Say can anyone tell us if Millard County has any road equipment, for there is one thing for sure, we haven't seen any since early last summer. |
