Show Millard countV chronicle Delta, Utah Thurs., Dec. 4, 1952 Mr. and Mrs. Williant Gardner and young son, Rex, from Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving in Delta with their parents Mr. and Mrs. E. Eugene Gardner. Also din-ner guests were Mrs. Gardner's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lovell from Oak City. Yeoman LaVar Ellis, and his wife and two young daughters, who have been visiting in Delta with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ellis, are now in Salt Lake City where they will make their home for the next four years. Mr. Ellis will be stationed with the U. S. Navy there. I Glen and lieulah Cahoon, and their son and daughter, from Las Cahoon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vegas, spent Thanksgiving and the weekend in Delta with Mrs. Les Welton. On Friday Dale and Lorraine Pritehard arrived from Ogden, for a visit until Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Welton had two Thanksgiving dinners while the family was home, with the first on Thursday and another on Sat-urday, at vhicr time other guests were Mrs. Welton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Talbot, from Lynn-dy- l, and her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Talbot. By ARLENE OGDEN Play Cast The play and play cast was chosen last week. The play chosen by Mr. Anderson, the director, is "Men are Like Streetcars". The cast is as folows: Earlene Steele, Wayne Western, Phyllis Kay Moo-dy, Darleen May, Connie Perkins, Ila Rae Taylor, Sharon Steele, Beth Willden, Glenda Talbot, Virginia, Allen, Emogene Nielson. Scott Skid more, Richard Snow, Dale Work-man, Merrill Nielson, and Kay Henrie. The date will be announc-ed later. Safety Patrol The Civic clubs o'f Delta, with the help of Mr. Sherwood, Mr. Seegmiller, and Miss Western, have formed the Junior Saftey Patrol to help school students cross the street in safty. The school will be in charge of one intersection and the High School the other one. Nick Pace has been chosen as captian in the high school, with six girls and six boys working under him. These twelve students will alternate with each other. Mr Ray Church has argreed to donate two tickets a week to the kids in charge of the patrol that week The patrol will be in service from 8:30 to 9:00-- 1 and 3:30 to3:45. Defense Laboratory Mr. Grant Snow, Peggy Wright, La Rue Anderson, Kent Bishop, Mr. Stiihhs and Miss Rnwman fire set- - ling up a civil defense Laboratory to take care of laboratory needs in ease emergencys should arrive. The lab will be instructed by Dr. Smith from the U. S. A. C. Dr. Smith is in charge o'f this probnam all over the state. He will be here with the lab instructions on Dec. Mrs. Maurine Willoughby from Layton, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Robinson from Salt Lake City at-tended the funeral services in Hinckley Friday for Eldon Lloyd Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Jensen. They visited in Delta later with their launt, Mrs. Marion Pace. Dr. and Mrs. M. E. Bird left Delta Monday by train for Denver where they will attend sessions of the American Medical Association.
