Show ileseret MRS. ARPRILLA SCOW Verle Black who is employed at Dugway was home over the week end with his wife and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Black and son spent a few days at Bountiful visiting with Mrs. Black's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Knight are the proud parents of a baby girl born Friday at the Delta hospital. Mr and Mrs. Spencer Webb entertained en-tertained at a dinner Saturday evening ev-ening at their home. After dinner the rest of the evening was enjoyed en-joyed by playing cards. Dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Clive Black and Mr. and Mrs. James Sampson. Mrs. Melvin Warner 'and children child-ren are visiting in Ogden with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Welling Zun-dell. Zun-dell. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Warner went to Cedra City Saturday taking Mrs. Jay Warner and daughter home. I In Sacrament meeting Sunday night High Coiincilmen Willis Dutson Dut-son and Don Anderson were the speakers. Musical numbers were a song "A Mormon Boy" by Gayle I and William Dutson. Vocal solo, "The Stranger of Gallilee" by Mrs. Wilbur Anderson.Both musical num bers were accompanied by Mrs. Willis Dutson. Everyone enjoyed the program very much. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Webb were visitors at Provo Friday. Maylon Erickson who is attending attend-ing school at Cedar City was home over the week end. The Deseret Garden Club is meet ing Thursday night at the home of Mrs. Fern Crafts. "Fireside Chat" was held Sunday evening after Sacrament meeting at the home of Ina Rae Damron's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Western. The program was enjoyed by a large crowd. Ruth Hansen from Delta gave a report of her experiences in Denmark. Musical numbers were given by Ray Western and family. Mr. .and Mrs. Verland Willden and boys from Gunnison visited the past week with Mrs. Willden's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bennett. Mrs. Blanche Crafts entertained her Sunday School class Monday night to a chicken dinner. Those present were Jolene Torrence, Kent Dewsnup, Kay Moody, Dorothy Baker Ba-ker and Max Jensen. . Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Anderson left Tuesday for Salt Lake City where they will spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Layton Dewsnup, Evah Conk and Harmon Dewsnup spent Saturday at Richfield. |
