Show Parents Day At Delta High Slated Feb. 14 Thursday, Feb. 14, has been selected sel-ected as the date for the 26th annual an-nual Parents Day at Delta high school. That day parents will attend at-tend school while students have a holiday. The day's program will be carried car-ried out along lines that have proved pro-ved popular in' preceding years, with mornine assemhlv and rlas- ses luncheon, noon movies, pep rally and election, afternoon, program, pro-gram, sports, evening movies, program pro-gram and old time dance. Specially invited guests will be Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Dorius, members of Millard county school board and Supt. A. M. Maughan. Mr. Dorius, nowing living in Salt Lake City, originated Parents' Day 26 years ago, and has attended each one since. Parents' officers of this year's event are Athena Cook, president Lee Shipley, vice president, Liz Pace, secretary, Thelma Black, editor, ed-itor, Roy and Chlora Twitchell, yell masters, George Sampson, athletic manager Benny Robison and Pearl Hawley, campaign managers. Principal Glen Seegmiller and faculty of Delta high school will represent the school on the day's program and conduct classes for the parents in the afternoon. : |
