Show Oak City - Mae H. Shipley The scouts hcl da recommittal program Thursday night at the recreation hall. A very interesting program was given contests games and refreshments were enjoyed. About 60 people were present including in-cluding scouts, their leader, and parents. Sunday evening services had as the speakers High counselman Clark Bishop and his son, David, also Mrs. Clark Bishop made a fevy remarks. David sang two num bers. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence East and daughters from Provo visited Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday in Oak City. Mrs. Eima Anderson and son, from Pleasant Grove spent two or three days visiting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Finlinson and Mrs. Lydia Finlinson were in Salt JLake and Provo this week. Mrs. Finlyinson remained for medical med-ical observation. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Ly-man Finlinson returned home on Sunday. Mr. Richard Christensen visited from Logan this week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Paice and Misses Phyllis and Shirley Paice vis ited with their sister, Erma and other relatives this week. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Roper had Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Pratt and children chil-dren visit with them from Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. George E. Finlinson Finlin-son had their children, Mr. and Mrs. Lenox Finlinson and Mr. and Mrs. Newell Day, visit Sunday. Another An-other daughter, Mrs. Amy Faust from Salt Lake has been visiting with them for several days. Mr. and Mrs. "Wilmer Anderton and son from Richfield visited with Mr. Lorengo Lovell Sunday. Mr. Collier and Lorenzo Lovell went to Idaho to attend a Lovell reunion. A dance and program will be given Saturday evening. The honored hon-ored guest will be Mr. Calvin Dut-son Dut-son who leaves Oak City to enter the service Feb. 19. Elder Nephi Anderson returned from his missionary labors this last week. He will officially report re-port his labors Sunday evening, Feb. 18th at the services to be held in the ward chapelv Elders Nephi Anderson and Calvin Cal-vin Dutson were speakers at Hinckley Hin-ckley ward last Sunday. Misses Geniel Shipley, Genevieve Anderson Ander-son and Edith Anderson visited with them at Hinckley. Genevieve and Edith each played a piano solo. |
