Show Ferron Lovell Merits Praise On Seed Thesis Ferron Lovell, employed in the Delta office of the Commercial Bank of Utah, is one o'f three men from the organization to be graduated grad-uated this year from the Pacific Coast Banking School. The others are Paul Lambert, manager of the Spanish Fork office, and Gordon Mendenhall, manager of the Heber City office. There have only been two other banks from the state of Utah to obtain a degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School prior to this time. The school consists of a year around correspondence course with two weeks concentrated course during the summer. In order to graduate two years works must be completed successfully. In a letter from the school Mr. Lovell is praised for his thesis. Robert M. Mills, assistant director, writes "We have just received your paper from the Examining Committee. Com-mittee. They have given you an "A" grade on your thesis, "alfalfa Seed Growing in West Millard." Your paper indicates a very thor ough study of the subject, and ranks high among the best papers submitted so far. We are sure it will be a valuable reference to anyone located in a seed growing area." Mr. Lovell is in Seattle at present, pre-sent, at the University of Washington, Wash-ington, completing his course for graduation. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Lovell, of Oak City. During his' absence his wife and two daughters are visiting her parents par-ents at Holladay. |
