Show Oasis Mr La Veda Bishop Mrs. Evelyn Hawley took her mother, Mrs. Annie Skeem, and aunt, Mrs. Hulda Anderson, to Man ti Tuesday to attend funeral services ser-vices for a cousin, Mr. Ferdinand Christensen. . Mrs. Biah Sjostrom went to Sacramento, Sac-ramento, Cal., during the week, to visit her daughter, Mrs. Jack Murray, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Bishop and two sons, from Cedar City, spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop. Elder Cleone Talbot, of Hinckley, recently returned from a. mission in Sweden, was the speaker in sacrament meeting Sunday evening. even-ing. He gave a very interesting report re-port on his missionary work. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Talbot, Tal-bot, and grandmother, Mrs. Nephi Stewart, and Miss Hurst, all from Hinckley were also present. The Relief Society will hold their opening social Wednesday evening Sept. 26. All members are invited to be at this party. Last Tuesday Arlo Messinger, of Beaver,' brought his wife and three children to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Val Styler. He returned return-ed home Wednesday and Ha stayed sta-yed until Saturday, when her sister sis-ter Nella drove the family home. Mrs. Bob Robinson spent last week in Salt Lake City to visit her children and sisters there. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Ferre and family brought brou-ght her home Sunday. They visited visit-ed Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Jackson and family at Orem on the way home. The Ferres returned to Salt Lake City Tuesday. |
