Show Oasis Mrs La Veda Bishop Mr. and Mrs. Ed Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Norvel Christensen Christen-sen and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop of Oasis attended the funeral services ser-vices for Wilford Brunson in Fillmore Fill-more Tuesday. The boys who attended the camporee at Navajo lake last week were Melvin and Grant Memmott, Keith Stanworth.Jerold Bishop and Voy Stewart. They report that in spite of the poor fishing they had a good time. On July 12 Mrs. Reginia Hawley celebrated her 87th birthday. Her daughters, Reva Dunn and Telia Strang and Norma Jene and Lawrence Law-rence Strang from Salt Lake were here for the occasion. A family dinner was served and the special feature was a large birthday cake. Other members of the family present pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Hawley Haw-ley and Mr. and Mrs. Fon Hawley. Mrs. Zona Hawley, Mrs. Stella Hawley and Marlene Carling were Salt Lake City visitors from Wednesday Wed-nesday until Saturday. Mrs. Nina Huff from Booneville. California, is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Zone Hawley. Mr. and Mrs. Armond Hawley from Provo spent the 24th with their mother, Mrs. Zona Hawley. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop and son, Carlos, of Hinckley, and daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Lovell of Delta, attended at-tended the Bishop reunion in Salt Lake City Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Robinson of Cropper Lane, left Tuesday for a trip through the northwest with Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Robinson of Hinckley. |
