Show Deseret LUCILLE SAMPSON Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hyatt from California spent several days visiting visit-ing at the home of Mrs. Hyatt"s mother, Mrs. Valate Maxfiold. Mr and Mrs. Jim Symes from Wy, Nev., spent the week end at the home of Mrs. Zada Dewsnup. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Humphries and daughters from Salt Lake City spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Rowley. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Mc Donald Don-ald and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Western Irom Salt Lake City, spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Black. Mrs. Western re mained here to take care of her sister, Mrs. Mary Black who is ill. We wish Mrs. Black a speedy recovery. re-covery. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Moody and family from Salt Lake, spent the rodeo week end at home of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Moody. Mrs. Charlotte Black, who is in the LDS hospital in Salt Lake, for medical is about the same. Her condition is still unchanged. We all wish Mrs. Black a quick recovery re-covery and hope she is soon home and well. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Jacobson from Provo visited over the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Western. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mace and .family .fam-ily from Illinois spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ormus L. Dutson. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Moffitt and children from Salt Lake City, spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Webb. Ray Moody and son from Salt Lake visited at the home of Mrs. Effie Moody, Mr. Moody's daughter, daugh-ter, Rae Lynn, who has been spending spen-ding the past two weeks with her grandmother returned to Salt Lake with her father. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Curtis and daughter from Heber spent the rodeo week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Inez Damron. Deona Bennett from Meadow is spending a week at the home of her cousin, Miss Linda Cropper. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Moody and son from Salt Lake City, spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Jensen. Mr. Frank Dewsnup from St. Geo rge and Miss Marilyn Badger were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup. Mrs. Alice Robinson from Scipio spent the week end with her son Wells and family. Mr. Ladd Holt from Sigurd is spending a few weeks at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Black. Mr. and Mrs.' Clayton Cahoon from Tooele spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Conk. Mrs. Conk and two daughters daugh-ters returned with them to Tooele for a few days visit. Mr. Billy Conk from Oregon is visiting his mother, Mrs. Eva Conk. Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Cahoon have returned from Salt Lake where Mr. Cahoon underwent an operation. operat-ion. Sunday evening in Sacrament meeting Mr. Ladd Cropper and Ver dell Bishop from Hinckley were the speakers. Their talks were very good and also the musical number. Mr. Frank Dewsnup who lived here years ago also gave a short talk on his earlier life here in Deseret. He is from St. George. Everyone enjoyed this splendid meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Parnell Hinckley from Salt Lake City spent the rodeo rod-eo week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Eliason. Mr. LaVon Black and son Dave and daughter, Ila Mae returned to their home in Ontario Cal. after spending the past week in Deseret. Deser-et. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Chynowelh and family from Orem, spent the rodeo week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dewsnup. Miss Mary Lou Durbin of Salt Lake City was a week end guest at the home of Mrs. and Mrs. F. M. Western. Also Mr. and Mrs. La Mar Brunson and family from Fillmore Fill-more were Sunday visitors at the Western home. Mrs. Edna Patterson of Boise, Ida., is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Western. West-ern. Mrs. Ward Stevens from Fillmore was a guest at the home of .her daughter, Mrs. Blaine Cropper and family over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Welling Zundell and daughter Joan of Ogden were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Warner. Also a niece to Mrs. Warner, Miss Susan Holmes of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Monk from Salt Lake are visiting a week at the Warner home. Mr. and Mrs. Verland Willden from Gunnison and Mr. and Mrs. La Mont Bennett from Cedar City were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bennett , Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dee Bennett Ben-nett from Provo spent the week I end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Bennett. Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Cropper and son, Vincent spent a few days in Salt Lake City to visit Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Waller. Mrs. Waller is the former Miss Maxine Cropper. Mr. Waller who is a government lawyer has been called to Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. They sold their home in Salt Lake as they expect to be in Wash ington some time. Miss Neva Cropper reports having hav-ing a wonderful trip in Hawaii. She is on the same tour as Pres. Smith and his party. |
