Show Oak City i Mae H. Shipley The wedding dance for Jennie Olsen Styler and Russell Styler was a very lovely affair. The charming bride wore white satin gown and a veil with seed pearls. Many friends and relatives were present from other places. The presents were many and beautiful. beauti-ful. Their many friends wish this popular young couple much happiness. hap-piness. The Sunday evening services were well attended. Elder Francis Anderson reported his mission and experiences in a very fine manner. man-ner. A fireside chat was held immediately im-mediately afterward at the John Alldredge home. Mrs. Fred Nielson and little son visited the past week with her parents par-ents at Provo, Mr. and Mrs. East. Mrs. Clara Atkins and children are visiting in Oak City. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Paice and daughters, Phyllis and Shirley, were Oak City visitors this past week. Mrs. Minnie Ashby is visiting her sister, Mrs. Mamie Anderson, for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Christensen have their daughter, Rena and family from Panguitch visiting. Mrs. Amy Faust and Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Faust and new son from Salt Lake visited at Mr. and Mrs. George Finlinson's home for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Nielson and family spent several days in Oak City. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Christensen and little daughter, Nola, and Mr. Grant Christensen visited in Salt Lake Saturday and Sunday. Leo Folsom from Garfield visited visit-ed his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Elder. ! Mrs. Clifton Alldredge and her daughter visited in Salt Lake City the past week. I Pauline Lovell was a guests of her cousin, Linda Walker at Sutherland. Suth-erland. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Anderson went to Salt Lake City Sunday. Mrs. Anderson and children will remain for a week. A music committee of about 8 people visited in Salt Lake City last week. Oak City ball players scored another an-other victory Saturday over Mona. The score was 21 to 4 for Oak City. |
