Show Civic Clubs Meet At Panguitch Set On August 26 The next meeting of the Associated Asso-ciated Civic Clubs of Southern and Eastern Utah will be held at Panguitch" Pan-guitch" on Saturday, August 26, under un-der the sponsorship of the Panguitch Pan-guitch Lions Club and Civics directors direc-tors of Garfield county. Board of directors meeting at 11:00 a.m. in the Panguitch North Ward chapel. Open meeting, to which the public is invited at 2:00 p.m., also in the North Ward chapel. chap-el. The Civics standing committees will report at this meeting. The State Road Commission, Fish and Game Commission, Forest Service, Parks Service, Water Resources Committeee, Livestock, Agriculture Mining and others will be represented repre-sented and will take part in the discussions. To all who are interested inter-ested in the problems of this 18-county 18-county area this will be a good place to come, discuss your problems prob-lems and present your views. The evening banquet will be held in the banquet room of the South Ward chapel, and a pleasing program pro-gram is assured. People desiring to visit Bryce Canyon before returning home could easily do so, as the concessions con-cessions and cafes there will still be open. Anyone desiring over night accomodations ac-comodations should make reservations reser-vations through J. M. Sargent or J. U. Henrie at Panguitch. |
