Mrs. Frank Godfrey was chosen pres.dent Thursday evening the Laches entertained for the Eagles Lodge men. A box supper was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark, Mi. and Mrs. Paul Crum, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Shaw of Orem. Thelo Nielson of Leamington vis-ited in Provo Tuesday with Ray and Don Anderson. They all went to Lynndyl to attend the wedding of Miss Orlean Overson. Johnny Banks, who has had his tonsils removed Monday is doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen and Ruby were dinner guests at the Simpson home Sunday. Bill Simpson returned to Lynn-dyl Wednesday after spending a few days in Provo with his parents. Mrs. Eldonna Anderson of Oak City visited in Provo at the Blaine Coleman home Saturday. Mrs. Thelma Clark went to Sail Lake Monday ot see the dentist. Mrs. Rachel Simpson spent Tues day and Wednesday in Spanish Fork visiting Mrs. Sadie Elmer. On Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Crum and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Olsen spent an enjoyable evening playing Can-asta at the Leon Shaw home in Orem. Mrs. Al Benson of of Los Angeles his been ill with pneumonia, but is slowly recovering. Her daughter, Mrs. Mae Middleton is moving into a new home they have recently built with all new furnishings in Whittier, California. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Donald of Mil ford have been visiting in Provo. They live in a house trailer in Lynndyl for some time. Mrs. Jack Miller of Milford have been visiting in Provo with Sol Angell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were dinner guests at the Paul Crum home in Orem. Tuesday Mrs. Paul Crum drove to Salt Lake City and met Mr. Crum who has called to Rock Springs on account of illness. Mr, and Mrs. Jerry Nielson of Lynndyl. spent Sunday in Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Larsen, and mother, Mrs. Josephine Sud-bury and Nettie Dans. It was Mrs. Larsen's birthday. They also visit-ed Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark. George Evans of Leamington was a Provo visitor this weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Majers had as their dinner guest Sunday, Mr. Majer's uncle, Jim Glover of Kan-sas City, Kansas. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Leon Ol-sen and Mrs. Thelma Clark spent the day in Salt Lake City. On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Leon Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Shaw and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark enjoyed a Veterans' Legion party at Provo. Mrs. Thelma Clark won high score for Pinochle and Mrs. Shaw won house prize. Charley Smith and Leo Watts have returned to Provo from Las Vegas to resume their work in Provo. Mrs. Harry Wilkie has been stay ing in this past week as she had had the mumps, but is feeling fine. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Coleman drove to Lynndyl to take their mother, Mrs. William Coleman home.
