Show Blaine Coleman drove down and brought them home. Mrs. Coleman Cole-man reported Mrs. Niel Wilkie suf fering from mumps when she called call-ed on her. Mrs. C. E. Freer received word that her friend and a former j school teacher, Mrs. Louise Campbell Camp-bell had suffered a very bad heart attack. Mrs. Campbell lives in Pro-,vo. Pro-,vo. We all hope she is much improved. ti , . . LYNNM9YL BY MARY TOHNSON A very lovely affair was the wed ding and reception of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Christensen. A large crowd of friends gathered to shower the newlyweds with gifts and best wishes, also enjoying the dance. Some of the out-of-town folks here for this affair were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. DeLong Banks of Provo; Mrs. Tres-sa Tres-sa Terry and Joyce of Cedar City. Mrs. Jeanette Schwab has return ed to her home in Lund, Nev., after a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson, and being here for her sister ,Orlene's, wedding Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ogden drove down from Provo and spent Saturday Satur-day with their daughter, Lois Mc-Cardell Mc-Cardell and family. Mrs. Lucille Johnson and George visited in Cedar City with ' her mother a few days last week. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shipley, Mrs. Clarence Hogan and Mrs. Lile Johnson enjoyed the day at the Manti temple. Mr. and Mrs. Barney Lake are in Los Angeles visiting their child- ren. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills and I daughters and Roberta Nielson I drove to Cedar City Saturday for the Delta-Millard basketball game. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Dutson and children visited in Salt Lake City Friday. Mrs. Cherie Dutson and baby daughter returned with them. Sunday evening services at the church were under the direction of Hugh Hilton of the High Council. He brought with him Golden H. Black and David Stevens, who gave very good talks and Mr. and Mrs. Merservy of the music department depart-ment of the Hinckley high school, who gave appropriate musical numbers. The Primary held graduation for Guide Jay Bradfield. Mrs. Rhea Whatcott was pleasantly pleas-antly surprised Saturday to have her married sons, Carl, Garth and Darold and their wives, home for the weekend. They drove back to Salt Lake Sunday evening. Miss Annette Smith was a Salt Lake visitor over the weekend. Mr. Jim Smith was home to spend Sunday with his family. J. A. Banks was called to Beaver for the funeral of a relative Tuesday. Tues-day. Miss Gladys Banks came down from Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. William Coleman are home after a few weeks visit in Helper with their son, Eldon and family. They stopped in Provo and visited several days with friends fri-ends and Sunday Mr. and Mrs. |
