Show Mighty Millard Downs Delta By Lop-Sided Score Millard high school displayed a fast and powerful offense in downing down-ing Delta high school 52 to 7. The Eagles were more than effective both in the air and on the ground. The Millard offense was almost overshadowed by their defense as they did not let Delta get a fi st down in the first half. Millard scored first with Alton Wade going over off tackle. Marshall Mar-shall ran the extra point over and Millard was ahead 7 to 0. Marshall scored again for the visitors going 40 yards off tackle, Jack Wade missed the try for the extra point and the score was 13-0. In the second se-cond quarter it was all Millard as Marshall raced 60 yards to score, passed to Wade for another score. Ronnie Hone took over for Millard and intercepted two Delta passes for two more touchdowns. Wade kicked two extra points and Millard Mil-lard left the field with a40-0 half-time half-time lead. Delta got their first down, but to no avail, Millard took over and drove back to the Delta 35 yard line, where Marshall carried over on an end run. That ended Millard's Mil-lard's scoring until the fourth quar ter when Marshall passed to Hone to end their scoring for the game. Delta made their only touchdown touch-down of the game late in the game on a Snow to Anderson pass. Bud Fullmer kicked the extra point to make it 52 to 7. The entire game was played during a terrific windstorm. The weather was cold and there were many fumbles. ' Starting lineup for Millard was: ends.J. Wade, J.
