Show Newly Wed Pair Greet Friends At Reception . Mr. and Mrs. James Christensen, who were married Sept. 5 in the . Manti.. temple, were honored at a wedding reception Thursday night in Deseret. The bride is the former Miss lone. Hilton,' daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy P. Hilton of Hinckley. Hinck-ley. Mr. Christensen is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Norval Christensen of Oasis. . Many best wishes for their mutual mu-tual happiness and wedding gifts were received by the newly wed couple. Receiving with them were their .parents and members of the bridal, party. The bride was attended attend-ed by Mrs. Dee Stevens as matron of honor, and Mrs. Carol Cropper and Mrs. Lula Hilton as bridesmaids. brides-maids. Berdell Memmott stood as best man. The brides was lovely in a wedding wed-ding gown of white satin and wore a fingertip veil edged with deep lace. Her veil was held by a crescent of seed pearls, and she carried a heart-shaped bouquet of gladioli and roses. Her attendants carried bouquets of gladioli and roses. Mother of the bride wore a formal gown of blue crepe and mother of the bridegroom was j gowned in black Both wore corsages cor-sages of roses. Mrs. May Cropper was in charge of the guest book and in the gift room were Mrs. Sebrina Ekins, Mrs. Erma Cropper, Mrs. Florence Robins and Mrs. Lulu B. Cropper, the bride's grandmother. A beautifully decorated wedding . cake and flower arrangements were on the serving table. Refreshments Re-freshments were served by a group of six young friends of the bride. Dee Stevens was master of ceremonies cere-monies for the program, which included in-cluded vocal solos by Ladd R. Crop per, Mrs. Erma Cropper, Mrs. Carol Cropper, and Howard Mcintosh. Mrs. LaVelle Johnson gave a reading. read-ing. Mr. Christensen leaves soon for an LDS mission in the western states. During his absence the bride will remain at her home in Hinckley. |
