Show Millard County Gardening Meet Set For Feb. 10 All Adult Education classes and garden clubs in Millard County are invited to attend a meeting Friday, Fri-day, Feb. 10, in Delta First ward hall, from 1 to 5 p. m. The meeting will be of interest to all gardeners, and the public is invited to attend. Officials of the Utah Associated Garden Clubs will attend, and the speakers will be C. R. Walter, Dor-thea Dor-thea Newbold, Milda Patten, Keith Boyer and M. C. Naylor. Their subjects wil be flower arrangement flower show rules, eradication of weeds, soils, spring planting of bor ders and arrangement of perennial borders. The meeting will be in charge of Beth Mecham Anderson, adult education ed-ucation instructor, and Stella Day of Fillmore, regional director of Garden clubs. Garden clubs represented repre-sented will incude Fillmore Garden Gar-den Club, Catheryn Nielson, Pres.; Fillmore Rose Society, Geneva Speakman, pres.; Delta Garden Club, Martha Adams, pres.; Deseret Molly Dewsnup, pres.; Hinckley, Irma Cropper, pres.; Lynndyl, Eleanor Elea-nor Nielson, pres.; and Oasis, Lillie Roundy, pres. |
