Show Polio Aides Tell Of Fine Support As Fund Grows Mrs. Reva . Bliss, chairman of the fund campaign in west Millard for the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis gives a glowing report of response from the public. The total sum raised will be reported re-ported at the end of the drive. Communities reported in this week are Sutherland, Mrs. Fern Foote, chairman, with a sum of $66.95. Sutherland school, under direction of Mrs. Elinor Roberts, contributed $11.39. Mrs. Bliss especially commended the school children for their generous gen-erous response. At Delta elementary elemen-tary school, a drive in charge of Mrs. Etta Underhill, netted $54.65. At Delta high school the Sub Deb club turned in $32.85, raised in a sale of pop and the check room at the Delta- Fillmore game. They turned in their entire proceeds, pro-ceeds, and furnished the pop from the club treasury. An appeal made during the game by high school aids brought $73.52 from the spectators, spec-tators, a splendid showing. In the high school a contest was also held between the 7th to 12th grades inclusive, to raise funds. A total sum of $63.79 was raised. The 8th grade was high, and won all day suckers each for winning. |
