Show Hospital Benefit Abraham Goes Oyer The Top In Ticket Sale Abraham, one of the smallest communities in west Millard, is the first to make a 100 percent showing on a sale of tickets for the hospital benefit bouts, Feb 16. With 22 families at Abraham, they sold 44 adult tickets, and children in proportion. Other districts are reporting good progress, but at this time returns re-turns are incomplete. $64 Question As highlights of the ticket selling campaign, Bud Bassett purchased one seat for $25. Ron Mortensen went one better by getting two for $50 each. Now the question arises, what man is going to buy the $100 seat for the approaching bouts, in support of the hospital fund. Will it be YOU? Such cooperation as this will undoubtedly un-doubtedly assure West Milard of a hospital. All proceeds from the benefit are earmarked for the west Millard Hospital association. The program of boxing includes a very good card, which will be advertised independently later. Included In-cluded in the program will be a 10 minute demonstration by local Boy Scouts on first aid for shock I and broken bones, which should be very educational to the public as well as giving our local Boy Scouts recognition. The boxing bouts will be staged in Palomar and will consist of a main event, 6 rounds.semi-wrndup, 4 rounds, several good 3-round pre liminaries and a battle royal. , Watch for the posters. All those selling tickets must positively check their unsold tickets tick-ets and cash with Miss Beverly Christensen in Dudley Crafts' office of-fice in Delta, no later than 5 p. m., Wednesday, Feb. 15. West Millard Hospital Ass'n had 1000 adult tickets and 500 children's child-ren's tickets printed for the benefit, bene-fit, one of the major events of the season. They invite the cooperation coop-eration of all communities in west Millard in making this a complete sell-out. |
