Show Attends Meet Of State Workers i To Figlat Caiacer Mrs. Biah Siostrom, captain of West Millard division of the American Amer-ican Cancer Societv, was in Salt Lake City Jan. 13 through 15, attending at-tending the training school and convention. Sessions were held at the New-house New-house hotel, where the workers were instructed on how to us the wwere instructed on how to use the ety, the need of public instruction on how to help fight cancer, and told of the research work1 being done at the University of Utah. Speakers included Raymond Lewis, Lew-is, assistant director of public education: ed-ucation: Mrs. H. G. Bogart, deputy national commander; and Douglas Poteat.vice president from national hearinuarters: Dr. E. A. Lawrence, Dr. N. I. Wintrobe, Dr. Kenneth B. Bastleton, Dr. James P. Kirby, and Dr. A. A. Jenkins, from the U. of U. research department; Mrs. Emily de Neuf, state commander, Mrs. Nathan Fullmer, state secretary, and Mrs. Adonis Robinson and Royal S. Garff, public workers. The month of April will again be devoted to the campaign to raise funds to fight cancer, thru-out thru-out the nation. I |
