Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allred spen everal days last (week visiting Salt Lake. ' Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cahoon, of Fillmore, were Sunday visitors iat the hoem of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Cahoon. The Deseret rook club met at the home of Delores Ogden in Sutherland on Thursday evening and enjoyed the lovely lunch. One high Rook was played during the evening by Nora Cropper, Mabel Black, Delores Davis, Stella Haiw- lev. T.iiHll Sjflmnervn iRfth Mnnv and Irma Deiam Croft. High scores were held by Beth Moody and Lucille Sampson. Low score went to Stella Hawley. Bishop Ormus L. Dutson left Tues day to take a load of bees to Colton, Cal. Tuesday afternoon the Sea Gulls tgave a surprise birthday party for their teacher, Lucille Sampson.They showered her with peanuts, and pre sented her with a beautiful gift. After playinggames cake and punch pun-ch were served. |
