Show Hinckley Mrs. Harriet Spendlove Mr. and Mrs. Loren Talbot received rece-ived word last week from their son, Cleone, who is in Sweden on a LDS mission, in which he told of a trip he had had recently, going to Norway. While he was there, he saw the track meet between USA and the Scandanavian Countries, Count-ries, and talked with the contestant contest-ant prior to the meet. He saw there the world's record broken in throwing the shot-put and discus and also the American record in the 1000 meter race, which is a-bout a-bout a five mile run. Mr. Carroll Carroll of Texas, and a former student of the Hinckley high school was a visitor last week at the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carroll of Hinckley, Carroll plans to attend at-tend school this year at the U of U.
