Show Oak City MAE H. SHIPLEY Sunday evening at sacrament meeting the speakers were Mr. Fullmer from Abraham and Mr. George Anderson, Capt. Harold Heggessy. Vocal solos by Myron Christensen and Meredith Anderson. Ander-son. Capt. and Mrs. Harold Heggessy and little daughter, Carolyn, and Barbara are visiting in Oak City this week. ( Capt Heggessy has been stationed stat-ioned in Florida, and recetly at Mountain Home, Idaho. In two weeks his assignment takes him to Japan for two years. -His many friends enjoyed their visit. Capt. Heggessy lived at' Oak City with his grandmother, Mrs. Florence Jones and attended the Delta high school where each graduated and was very active in school activities Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Anderson from Salt Lake City visited relatives rela-tives and friends in Oak City. Cloyd Talbot and Alta Alldredge were happy to have their sister, Deon and husband and baby visit from Santa Clara, Cal., also another an-other sister, Margie, and family from Orderville, Utah. Mrs. Clara Talbot and Miss Jennie Jen-nie Olson are visiting in Clearfield, Clear-field, with Mrs. Jos. Wells. Mrs. Caddie Lovell is visiting in Gunnison with her son, Lem. A surprise party was given in honor of Miss MarGene Anderson for her birthday Thursday evening at the home of Miss Margaret Sheriff. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Talbot and children and Miss Faye Alldredge visited in Salt Lake City and Ogden. Og-den. Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lyman and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wise from Sunset were Oak City visitors Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Finlinson miu ssuiii iium .raysuii weie kjcxk City visitors. Miss Arvilla Jacobsen is here visiting her parents this week, also Mrs. Clora Cloud and children of Salt Lake City are visiting in Oak City with Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jacobsen. Jac-obsen. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence East and I family attended the East reunion reun-ion on Sunday in Ogden and visit ed there a few days. Mrs. Ila Jacobsen was called to Salt Lake City when her brother bro-ther was seriously injured in a car accident last week. Mrs. Lydia Finlinson returned from Cedar City, and her daughter, daugh-ter, Clara and children came back with her for a visit. |
