Show Final Rites For Oak City Fathef Set for Friday Joseph H. Christensen, 64, of Oak City, died Tuesday at 7 a. m. in the LDS hospital following a continued illness. He was a farmer farm-er at Oak City, and railroad worker work-er for years. He was born in Deseret Nov. 5, 1885, and moved to Oak City when he was a small boy. He was married in the Manti LDS temple Sept. 10, 1918, to Edna Anderson. Surviving are his widow and children, Mrs. Ila Billingsley, Salt Lake City, Ralph Christensen, Oak City, Glen Christensen Nephi, and Ruby, Grant , Merritt and Joseph Christensen, Jr., of Oak City; and three grandchildren. Also surviving surviv-ing are sisters, Mrs. Serena Murray Mur-ray Salt Lake City, Mrs. Ella Hansen, Han-sen, Bakersfield, Cal., and half-brothers, half-brothers, Henry Carlson, St. George Marvel Carlson Las Vegas, Nev., and Leo Carlson, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held in Oak City ward chapel Friday at 2 p. m., with Bishop Burnis Fin-linson Fin-linson officiating. Burial will be in the Oak City cemetery under the direction of L. N. Nickle |
