Show Lnndyl Mrs. Rachel Simpson A wise man is like a straight pin, his head keeps him from going too far SELECTED Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse went to Provo Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nielson and children and Norene Shipley went to Provo Saturday to see Mrs. Dick Nielson who is in the hopital there. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Nielson and two children drove down from Provo in their new Nash and visit-. Lynndyl has enjoyed a week ot sunshine and feel much brighter. We were beginning to ' feel we were being buried alive in the snow Soon we will need boats to get around in, the way the water is filling the streets. Some people have to complain it will soon be too hot and the bugs and flies will pest us. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Ogden of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Brant Wall of Salt Lake visited here with Mr. and Mrs. Harry McCardell. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills went to Milford and enjoyed the game. Mrs. Myron Vest has her two granddaughters form Milford visiting visit-ing here. ed Mrs. Wanda Roper. Kurt Roper1 rode back with them after visiting j a few days with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Roper went to Caliente Wednesday and visit-' ed with their son Dern and Family. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Gavin Weir of Bor-don Bor-don are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. j Wallace Allen. Mrs. Dick Hayes, Sr., and Mrs. Francis Hayes and daughter were Delta visitors Saturday. Mrs. Mary Johnson went to Provo Wednesday and visited her husband, hus-band, returning Saturday. Julius Anderson, Gladys Banks and Tillman Johnson came home from Cedar City and visited their families fam-ilies over the weekend. Mrs. Wallace Allen received word from her daughter in San Bruno, Calif., that her grandson, Billy, had the Chicken Pox. Miss Colleen Chose of Nephi and Oran Nielson of Leamington, Don Williams of Tooele and Rex Chose of Nephi spent Sunday here visiting visit-ing Janeane Simpson and Margaret Smith. Keith Overson celebrated his birthday bir-thday Saturday at his home. A group of children enjoyed games and refreshments. Harold Ivie, Kennetth Hayes, Ron aid Greathouse, Connie Johnson, Molly Mills, Roberta Nielson went to Milford Wednesday and attended attend-ed the game there. Mrs. Mary Johnson received a phone call from her mother, Mrs. Hattie Johnson that her sister, Mrs. Hazel Williams was quite ill. Mrs. Johnson and son Ross left Sunday evening for Los Angeles to be with her sister. Tuesday evening Mrs. Mary Smith returned from Salt Lake where she had spent a month caring for her daughter Mrs. Joe Easterbrook. Anneae Smitth went to Salt Lake Sunday and returned with her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson, Norma Majers went to Delta Sunday . to take Steven to the doctor. Steven has had infection in his face. Sunday evning Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson and Jay Simpson went to Leamington to visit friens. On Feb. 8, Mrs. and Mr. Jerry Nielson entertained Mr. and Mrs. Ray Clark at a delicious dinner. The occasion was Mrs. Clark's birth day. Monday Mrs. Rachel Simpson and daughter, Janeane spent a pleasant evening visiting Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Char-lie Williams and Don in Leamington. Leaming-ton. Wednesday Mrs. Leland Roper of Oak City visited with Mrs. Grayson Roper and Mrs. Bill Simpson. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson and Rachel Simpson went to Nephi to see Dr. Beckstead. Those from here who attended the Sweet Heart Ball in Delta were Ivy Jay Nielson, the king, Janeane Simpson, the queen, Margaret Smith, Harold Ivie, Ray Wilkins, Ronald Greathouse, Don Williams of Tooele and Rex Chose, of Nephi. |
