Show &utlierlaiici - Mrs. Josie Walker ' Primary officers and teachers with their husbands and wives as guests enjoyed a party at the church house Monday evening. Table games were played and Santa Claus came and distributed candy and nuts. The Relief Society bazaar, which was held Dec. 7, was a very successful suc-cessful affair. Supper was served to a large crowd. Ben Robison was auctioneer of the articles in the bazaar and the financial returns were very gratifying. Thursday evening there will be . a ward party given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Will Walker, who recently re-cently moved to Delta. The east side of town is to bring Spudnuts and the west side is to bring sandwiches. sand-wiches. Cal Jones, who was operated on in Cedar City two weeks ago, is now home recovering well. Julia Le Cheminant and daughter, daugh-ter, Judy Ann, of St. George, are here visiting her mother, Mrs. Thornton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nielson were guest speakers at Sunday sacrament sacra-ment meeting. Their daughter, Janet, played a piano selection. Zoe Porter and Arlo Steele were home from the BAC over the week end. Gene Walker was re-elected as Sutherland committeeman of the AAA. Visitors over the weekend in Salt Lake City were Ike Sorenson, Carlisle Johansen, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Johnson. I |
