Show West Millard Sets Sights on New Modern Hospital Fund Campaign to Raise $30,000 Locally Has Been Started this Yeek A hospital for the whole west Millard area, long a dream, is now to become a reality. Plans were formulated this week to bring this about. Between now and January 1, a fund campaign will be . concentrated con-centrated on as a first step. The West Millard Hospital Association has been formed. Everyone who contributes funds toward the building becomes a member of the Assn. And everyone every-one will want to join the campaign as it has long been considered most essential that west Millard should have a hospital. The project has been discussed discuss-ed at length and meetings held, to find the best ways and means to make a hospital an accomplished fact. SIZE AND LOCATION A 10 or 12-bed hospital, to which a wing may be added when needed, is planned. Approximate . cost would be $90,000, of which money, a third would be raised in west Millard. With federal and state aid, the government matches every dollar raised locally with $2, and would provide the other two-thirds of the cost, $60,000. The location is planned on the . I6t south of the Delta municipal swimming pool, north of the new Delta First ward chapel, and is being bought from the LDS ward.
