Show Announcement To Wounded Vets The Departments of the Army and the Air Force have announced that they now are accepting for enlistment en-listment in the Army or Air Force partially disabled combat-wounded veterans of any of the Armed Forces For-ces who possess or are trainable in certain needed skills, according to a statement made today by SSgt. W. C. Ragner, of the Delta Army and Air Force Recruiting Station. Men applying under this new directive dir-ective may be enlisted in the grade held at the time of their discharge from the Army or Air Force, or in the equivalent pay grade held at the time of discharge from the Navy, Coast Guard or Marine Corps. Sgt. Ragner added that applicants appli-cants whose last period of active service was in the status of a commissioned com-missioned officer, warrant officer, or flight officer, may be enlisted as a master or first sergeant. However, How-ever, this enlistment must be accomplished ac-complished on or before June 30, of this year. Partially disabled combat-wounded combat-wounded veterans who desire more information on this new regulation should inquire at the Delta Army and Air Force Recruiting Station, located at Delta, Utah or at any Army and Air Force Recruiting Station. |
