Majers drove down from Provo and visited their families. Mr. and Mrs. Gavin Wier and Mrs. Wier's mother, Mrs. Montgom-ery drove up from Borden and sp-ent Saturday and Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen. Miss Donna Sherriff and Jean-nett- e Oversen spent Sunday visit-ing their parents. Gladys Banks and Tillman John-son flame home from Cedar City over the week end returning Satur-day. Mrs. Effie Allen has been quite ill but is improving. Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Roper sp-ent Sunday in Delta visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Black. Mr. and Mrs. Don Lawsen and children of Scipio returned home after having spent a few days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith. Mr. Lyle Johnson spent Sunday with his family. He is working in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse went to Holden Monday to attend the funeral of Ben Kenney. Mrs. Eleanor Nielsoin has been quite ill all last week. Mrs. Jean Ashly who has been in Los Angeles visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thompson arrived here yesterday and will visit here a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Finlinsin of Oak City visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shipley. n Dinner guests at the home of i Mr. and Mrs. Cloy Broderick on - Thanksgiving day were Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Broderick, from Yuba dam, Mr. 'and Mrs. Jerry Paxton, Fillmore, and Mr. and Mrs. Quin Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Bunk-er and Jack Thomas, of Delta. Mrs. Jennie Miller spent several days last week in Salt Lake, where she visited with her daughter, Mrs. Betty Payne, and grandson. There were a great many people attending the Follies in Delta. Clark Talbot visited in Salt Lake over the week end. Mrs. Mary Coon, Judy, and friend Betty Johnson of Salt Lake are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jeffers. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark and Mrs. Jean Jeffers cooked a goose dinner at the Mills home. Others who enjoy-ed the dinner were Mr. land Mrs. Jerry Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Garriet, Bill Jeffers and Mary Coon. Ann Dee Clark was hostess to a group of her school friends at her home. Games were played and Birthday cake and ice cream was served. Many gifts were received Mr. Charles Hagan of Eureka is here working at the round house. Mrs. Emily Twitchell has been quite ill and confined to the house. The party was held as the home of Mrs. Ava Starley in Delta and present were Lola Dalton, Pearl Snow, Ora Giardner, Maline Gardner, Violet Snow and Mrs. Starley form the club and Verna Gardner and Ella Black, as guests. At the Rook tab-les high scores were held by Mrs. Gardner land Mrs. Dalton, while Mrs. Starley held low. Mr. and Mrs. Thirl Stanworth and two sons returned to Delta Saturday and will again make their home in Delta. They have been at Rodeo, Calif., for the past two years. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Black and Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Black went to Salt Lake Sunday. Mrs. Harold Black is remaining there for a visit and medical treatment and the others returned to Delta.
