Show Engaged 'To Wed As ToM r.: LeJ3Erezas Mr. and Mrs. Parley L. Roper of Oak City announce the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Betty Jane, to Eurjene W Morris, son of President Presi-dent Harold R. Morris, ot Hinckley. The date for the wedding will be set later. The announcement was made at a party for a few close friends on Saturday evening, March 27, at the home of the bride-to-be's parents. daffodil was given each guest as luncheon was served, with the happy tidings concealed in the heart of each flower. The evening was spent playing games, and after aft-er the announcement was made. Miss Roper received good wishes and advice. Miss Roner is a graduate of Del-ti Del-ti hicih school and the B. Y. U., where she was an active member of the Millard Couny Club, Lamba Delta Sigma and a junior member of the Utah Writers League. She is at present a member of the faculty fac-ulty at Hinckley high school. Mr. Morris is a graduate of the Hinckley high school, and later attended at-tended the B. A. C. at Cedar City for two active years. He was a member of Lamba Delta Sigma, and was also active in other extra curricular activities. He is a veteran vet-eran of World War II, with three and one half years in the Army Air Corps, serving in the South Pacific Area. Both young people are well known throughout the county, and their friends rejoice with them in their happiness. |
