Show Taciier Takes Post At Kanali Miss Dawn Hilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Hilton, of Delta, will report for duty Sept. 1 at Kan-ab, Kan-ab, as home economics instructor in the Kanab high school. Supt. T. Lavoy Esplin, of the Kane district, announced plans for a complete modernization of the department, which has been closed for the past year. The classrooms will be redecorated, re-decorated, and new equipment will include electric ranges and refrigerator. refrig-erator. Miss Hilton was graduated from the BYU this spring, receiving her B. S. degree with a major in home economics. She is a graduate of Delta high school. In college she was associated with the Home Economics Ec-onomics club and the Gamma Phi Omicron, a home economics honorary hon-orary for upper division students. She was president of the latter group during her senior year. During Dur-ing her junior year she received the $100 Vilate Elliot scholarship. Miss Hilton is spending the summer sum-mer in Delta, and this week was in Oak Creek canyon for the 4-H encampment. Next week she will go to Logan for a home economics convention. |
