Show Mrs. Leonard Dulson Mrs. Emma Nielson spent Thanks giving Day in Salt Lake with her daughters, Barta and Arvilla and families. Mrs. Josephine Johnson has been suffering from a stroke. She was taken ill a week ago but is improving im-proving slowly. Her left side was paralyzed. She is staying at the home of her daughter,, Mrs. Barney Lake of Lynndyl. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nielson and children went to Salt Lake and enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with her sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Nielson. Guests at the home of Mr. iand Mrs. James T. Finlinson for Thanks giving were: Mr. and Mrs. Bob Weagle from Tooele and Mr. and Mrs. James Fay from Panquitch. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Whatcott from Provo came o attend the wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Young that was held here a week ago. Mr. and Mrs. Jaimes Anderson from Salt Lake were visiting in Leamington with relatives for a few days. A very large crowd attended the reception and wedding dance that was held here a week ago for Mr. and Mrs. Vern Young. The bride was the former Myrl Johnson of Leamington. The young couple received many beautiful gifts. Some of those that attended from up north were: Mr. and Mrs. Ray Johnson, from Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Barrett from Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Young (parents of the bride groom) from Huntington, Hunting-ton, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Young from Salt Lake, Miss Iris Clark from Logan, Grant and Dale Christensen from Aurora. The young couple will make their home in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Avery Curtis from Aurora came to see her mother, Mrs. Johnson, who has been very ill with 1a stroke. Mrs. Gill Johnson went to Provo to join her husband who is working work-ing there. Mr. and Mrs, Alton Bigelow and Family spent Thanksgiving Day in Pleasant Grove, with her parents 32 guests were seated at the table with a 25 pound turkey and all the trimmings. Don Anderson and Wife and baby are visiting here with his mother, Mrs. Essie Anderson. Mrs. Lesslie Summers and two children from Pioche, Nevada, spent sp-ent the past week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.'M. C. Dutson They also had their other two daughters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Mc Guire and family, fam-ily, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Soder-quist Soder-quist from Salt Lake to spend the week end with them. Mrs. Summers Sum-mers and children left for their home in Nevada Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Hansen spent Thanksgiving Day in Sutherland Suther-land with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bunker. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson spent Thanksgiving Day in Provo with their son, Gene. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Williams went to Tooele to visit their daugh ter, Grace and family for Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Mrs. Williams stayed a few days and returned home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Anderson went to Salt Lake to visit with their daughter, Eva and family, for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. John Evans spent Thanksgiving day in Mapleton with their daughter,, Marva and family. All of Mr. and Mrs. Evans other children were present ex-' cept one son and his family that were unable join them. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Fielding and children spent Thursday in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove with her parents and enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner. Mrs Bigelow joined her husband in Provo last Saturday and spent the day Xmas shopping. Mr. Bigelow Bige-low has been employed there this winter and comes home weed-ends weed-ends to join his family. The Seminary class of girls from Leamington furnished the program for last Sunday night in church. There was some very interesting numbers enjoyed by those present. Mr. and Mrs. Dene Dutson and son, Monty, from Holladay and Mr. Gene Dutson from Provo drove down to visit with their parents. Gene came to take his wife and baby back to Provo with him. She has been visiting with her parents in Lynndyl for a few days. Mrs. Bertha Anderson and husband hus-band and little daughter went to Idaho to spend Thanksgiving Day with Mr. Anderson's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Best and children were guests at a Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dinner at her parents home, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lovell. Mr. Jeff Finlinson enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at the home of his daughter, Leda Great-house Great-house and family at Lynndyl. Mr. and Mrs. Wells Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nielson from Milford were guests at a lovely turkey dinner at the home of his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Searle of Provo. Dinner guests at the home- of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nielson last Thursday were their daughters, Ray and a friend from Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jackson and daughter from Nephi also Mrs. Nielson's sister, Quen and her husband from Salt Lake. |
