Show Call Fails For Radio Prize A telephone call to Mrs. Les Welton in Delta about 2:30 Monday Mon-day afternoon, apprised her of the fact that Hollywood was calling her, and if she could name the tune being played, she would win some handsome prizes. The radio program is the "Surprise Package" on each afternoon here at 3. Unfortunately, Mrs. Welton was unable to hear, and couldn't hear a note of the music. So she failed to make a prize-winning answer. At 3 when the radio program came on, plain as day were the strains of the Merry Widow Waltz, a song she could easily have identified. However, it was some consolation to hear on the radio that she was being sent a 17-jewel Bulova wrist watch, for trying, even if she failed fail-ed to win the grand prize. Mr. and Mrs. L. S.
