Walker, Walk-er, Sutherland. Supt. A. M. Maugh-an, Maugh-an, of Millard district, Chrystal Maughan, supervisor, Roger B. Honeyman, school coordinator, & Miss Wilma Wixom, school nurse for West Millard, also attended. Mrs. George H. Johnson, Hold-en, Hold-en, regional director, led the audience audi-ence in repeating the objects of PTA, and introduced the guests. Principal speaker was Mrs.' E. W. Emery, Atchison, Kansas, representative re-presentative of the national congress. con-gress. Mrs. Emery has 25 years of wide and varied experience as a i parent-teacher leader. I The meeting closed with reports I by the secretaries, and next PTA meeting will be held after the opening of the school year. Millard I county schools will open Monday, 1 September 6, with registration for high school students during the week beginning August 30, and elementary students on Friday, Sept. 3. j |
